- Ancré dans une perspective interdisciplinaire, ce dossier rassemble une série de contributions autour des défis que pose aux agences de renseignements des États et à leurs populations la perception de la globalisation des menaces et des dangers, et notamment du terrorisme. Ce numéro thématique offre un panorama éclaté des recompositions dynamiques qui travaillent les services de renseignements, des bureaucraties naguère secrètes et désormais tenues à un certain aggiornamento : d’une part, s’ouvrir elles-mêmes à la compréhension d’un monde disposant d’informations plus ouvertes, un monde plus concurrentiel et plus coopérant sur les risques ; d’autre part, accepter de sortir de leur exceptionnalisme singularisant, à l’aide du regard critique de recherches penchées sur les modalités concrètes de leur fonctionnement régalien. Anchored in an interdisciplinary perspective, this issue brings together a series of contributions around the challenges faced by public intelligence agencies and their populations in perceiving the globalization of threats and dangers, and in particular terrorism. This thematic issue offers a fragmented landscape of the actual dynamic recompositions in the intelligence services, bureaucracies that were once secret and now held to a certain aggiornamento: on the one hand, opening themselves to the understanding of a world with more open information, a more competitive and more cooperative world on risks; on the other hand, accepting to get out of their singular exceptionalism, using the critical look of research into the concrete modalities of their "regalian" functioning.
