It features works by major artists such as Simeon Solomon, John Singer Sargent, Clare Atwood, Ethel Sands, Duncan Grant, John Minton, Angus McBean, David Hockney and Francis Bacon, alongside less well-known material, such as ephemera, personal photographs, film and magazines
