- Re-Introduction is a collection of studies by Chilly Gonzales which allow pianists to rediscover the joy of sitting behind a Piano. The 24 Piano pieces are easy to learn, fun to play and specially designed for all those who have tried to elucidate the mysteries of composing without success. It is recommended to have acquired a basic level of proficiency before playing these 24 studies. Each focuses on technical issues or theoretical necessary to musical composition and piano practice: melody, harmony, rhythm, scales, arpeggios ... Chilly Gonzales teaches us how to use all this equipment to play the piano today, including notions absent from musical dictionaries! Chilly Gonzales' text accompanies each piece in which he discloses his personal tricks. An enclosed CD includes a recording of the 24 pieces, allowing students to have the music in mind before giving their own interpretation on the keyboard.
