Few design movements have shaped contemporary typography quite like the Bauhaus. In Bauhaus Typography at 100, more than 150 publications and pieces of ephemera trace the school's legacy in graphic design - from its origins in German expressionism to the bold, utilitarian look it is celebrated for today. Founded in 1919 by German architect Walter Gropius, the Bauhaus embraced the tools of mass production as implements of craft and artistry.
