- Réinvestir le concept d’objet-frontière dans sa portée analytique en étant attentif à maintenir l’articulation étroite entre flexibilité interprétative et infrastructure, telle que pensée à l’origine, est la visée qui se déploie au travers d’études empiriques. Elles portent notamment sur la coordination entre mondes dans l’activité scientifique et portent leur attention à l’écologie des situations. Une discussion plus théorique situe le concept en contrepoint de celui d’objet intermédiaire et interroge les infrastructures de connaissances. Reinvesting the concept of the boundary object in its analytical scope while being careful to maintain the close articulation between interpretative flexibility and infrastructure, as originally thought, is the aim that is being deployed through empirical studies of this special issue. They focus in particular on the coordination between worlds in scientific activity and pay attention to the ecology of situations. A more theoretical discussion situates the concept in counterpoint to that of the intermediary object and questions knowledge infrastructures. Reinvertir el concepto de objeto-frontera en su ámbito analítico, cuidando de mantener la estrecha articulación entre la flexibilidad interpretativa y la infraestructura, como se pensó originalmente, es el objetivo que se está desplegando a través de los estudios empíricos. Se centran en particular en la coordinación entre los mundos en la actividad científica y prestan atención a la ecología de las situaciones. Una discusión más teórica sitúa el concepto en contrapunto al del objeto intermediador y cuestiona las infraestructuras de conocimiento.
