- Ce coffret limité célèbre le 50ème anniversaire de l'album 'morrison hotel', cinquième album studio de The Doors qui marquaient en 1970 leur retour au rock. Il propose en CD et vinyle 180-grammes l'album original remasterisé par Bruce Botnick, ainsi qu'un disque bonus contenant plus d'une heure de matériel inédit, enregistré lors des séances d'enregistrement. Parmi ces prises studio, des versions de travail de "Queen of the highway", "Roadhouse blues", "Peace frog" et "Blue sunday", le rare "I will never be untrue" et des reprises étonnantes ("Money (That's what I want)" et "Rock me").
